Give Thanks Bulletin Board

on November 6, 2012

It’s November, which means it’s time for me to change up the bulletin board!  This board is in a particularly focal point at the top of the stairs, so I make an effort to make it different every month.  I kept the same border and background as last month (need to get as much mileage out of that pumpkin border as I can!), but gave it more of a Thanksgiving spin.  I found a picture of this turkey in a magazine, then recreated it using construction paper.  Then, after making the feathers, I wrote all of our kids’ names on them.  Such a little thing, but earlier in the week I heard one of our kids out in the hallway let out a gasp and say, “LOOK!  My name is on that turkey!  Do you see it?!”  Win.
