You are “Thumb-Body” Special!

on November 6, 2012

This idea isn’t my own, but it was too cute not to share.  This Sunday, the curriculum that we use during J.A.M. Time was covering the topic of respecting ourselves.  We read Ephesians 2:10 together, then talked about what it means to be God’s workmanship or masterpiece.  I told the kids that God worked to create each of us uniquely and wonderfully.  He values us, so we should value ourselves too!  The curriculum then suggested having the kids put their thumbprints on a poster to remind them that they are “thumb-body” special.  I have a feeling this will stay up in The Hub for quite some time.
